The Champaign County African American Heritage Trail Docu-Series
Visage and Experience CU partnered to produce a compelling 15-video documentary series chronicling the rich, complex, and often underrepresented history of Black life in Champaign County, Illinois.
Through oral histories, archival footage, and community voices, the Champaign County African American Heritage Trail 15-Episode-Docu-Series not only preserves local Black heritage but also serves as a vital educational resource and a catalyst for continued dialogue, equity, and cultural pride in Champaign County and beyond.
